Yeah, nahhhhh. While it does have a bit of a kick, it's not gonna blow your socks off or have you chugging down milk.Our O.G. chili oil is aromatic and fragrant with medium spice level 5/10. It gives that extra something something to whatever dish you're cookin' up.Our spicy chili oil is slightly spicier with 6-7/10 spice level. IMO it has a very manageable heat level for diehard spice lovers as it focuses more on letting the flavours of Rippah shine.

We're inspired by the mishmash of food that Nicola grew up with living with a third-culture parent in Australia.Rippah is the love child of South-east Asian, Chinese and Indian flavours - citrusy from the lemongrass & kaffir lime leaves, sour from the tamarind, umami from the mushy seasoning, smokey from the black cardamom.

Rippah has a two year shelf life. You do not need to refrigerate after opening.

We’re a small-batch, early-stage food business, and shipping chili oil isn’t like shipping a T-shirt. Glass jars are heavy, they need protective packaging so they don’t arrive smashed, and carrier prices in Canada can get spicy fast — especially outside Ontario.

We know people expect free (or ultra-cheap) shipping thanks to Amazon, but we’re an artisanal product made locally in Ontario. Every order is packed by hand, and if we tried to offer “free shipping on everything” like the big guys, it would genuinely put us out of business.

So instead of quietly baking shipping into the price of every jar (and making everyone pay more), we keep our product pricing fair and charge transparent shipping rates that reflect real carrier + packaging costs. As we grow, we’ll keep working to improve rates — and pass savings on when we can.

Free shipping thresholds apply to regular orders only. 12-pack bulk orders ship at a flat bulk rate due to weight and size.

All orders are processed from our Toronto facility and shipped within 1-3 business days (excluding holidays and weekends). Shipping may take an additional 3-6 business days, depending on your location.We do our best to deliver your order within 5-7 days, but again - with all the shipping and transit complications these days, sometimes it can take a bit longer. Please contact us if you are experiencing delays in shipping so we can look into it further.

We offer local pickup from our Toronto facility, located in Ossington, free of charge. If you want to pickup, please choose this option at checkout and notify us of your preferred pickup day and time. Our business hours are 9am - 6pm Monday to Friday for pick ups.
